“Escale Lapérouse, worlds to explore” is the name of the new cultural facility supported by the City of Albi, dedicated to the navigator Lapérouse and his expedition which will see the light of day in 2029.

This future facility will be located on the site of the former general treasury, a former bourgeois house, recently acquired in 2022 by the City of Albi from the State. It will enrich the Cordeliers cultural district, where its immediate proximity to the Pierre-Amalric media library and Grand Theatre of the Cordeliers will allow the natural emergence of cultural collaborations.
