The year 2024 celebrates the hundredth anniversary of the Pantheonization of Jean Jaurès. The department of Tarn, where he was born, has decided to pay tribute to him by organizing various events and exhibitions throughout the year. It was in this department, which he was particularly fond of, that he was first buried in the Planques cemetery in Albi, before his ashes were transferred to the Pantheon in 1924.
