Eve Risser & Alexandra Grimal Oan Kim & The Dirty Jazz – Albi Jazz Festival
Two brilliant musicians come together around an original repertoire interspersed with tributes to two immense figures of 20th century music: Carla Bley and Charlie Haden. Long-time accomplices, Eve Risser, pianist and composer – artist associated with the Scène Nationale – and Alexandra Grimal, adventurous saxophonist, come together as a duo to present their new creation to us. Like an echo of the freedom of tone and format that they love so much, of the power of writing and the magic of improvisation, of sobriety and exuberance. Musical spaces as much bathed in popular music as in classical European music and jazz of course. An inevitably majestic duo, where the music is played in the moment with unparalleled generosity!
Eve Risser is a composer associated with the Scène Nationale, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and SACEM.

Oan Kim & The Dirty Jazz
After a first album released in 2022 and unanimously praised by critics, Oan Kim, unclassifiable saxophonist and singer, returns with a new repertoire of sophisticated and timeless beauty. A hybrid music, deliberately cinematic, between spiritual jazz and pop, between Pharoah Sanders and Radiohead. Oan Kim and his Dirty Jazz Band promise immediate bewitchment and comforting sweetness.
