Le Palais de la Berbie

The Palais de la Berbie is one of the oldest episcopal complexes in France, after Avignon. A place where the famous collection of the painter Toulouse-Lautrec is exhibited, it houses one of the most important public collections in the world.
The Palais de la Berbie is one of the oldest castles in France and one of the best preserved. Exceptional setting of the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, one of the major assets of the Episcopal City, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace is also very popular for its French gardens and its remarkable viewpoints over the Tarn or from a low angle view of the cathedral, its neighbour.
