… with my Albi City pass! full of ideas and good plans, visits and beautiful discoveries while saving money, I take advantage of it! The destination experts at the Tourist Office suggest a selection of visits on a day trip to Albi
One day in Albi, a “typical” day to inspire you
1- we don’t leave Albi without having visited them!
Albi is above all these 2 brick giants:
- the largest brick cathedral in the world: Sainte-Cécile
- le Toulouse-Lautrec museum whose visit is associated with the (free) discovery of the Berbie Palace former bishopric which serves as its setting.
2- What could be better than a guide to awaken your "Curio Cité" and better understand the city
The reservation of the visits is obligatory and is done at the Tourist Office at 42 rue Mariès

3- The Lapérouse adventure, are you tempted?
- The Lapérouse museum, located on the right bank, will give you the keys to understanding the history of this great navigator, his time and the sinking of his expedition.
- The reduced rate will be applied to you at the reception desk at the entrance to the museum on presentation of the pass
- You will also appreciate: the superb panorama of the episcopal city and the river from the viewpoint. A little further down, towards the old bridge, it's a Timescope Albi terminal which will give you a piece of history in augmented reality
4 – To broaden the visit, get some fresh air and also rest
- Board the tourist train for a 45-minute city tour, with on-board commentary
- or go to the banks of the Tarn, below the Berbie Palace and embark on a mini cruise on the Tarn
- The reduced rate will be applied to the purchase of tickets on presentation of the pass
5 – Tasting at Papilles Cocktail
To awaken your taste buds and bring back a bit of Albi to share with family and friends, pay a visit to Alexis, Meilleur Ouvrier de France Barman, who has brought up to date tasty cocktails including the Rainbow cocktail imagined by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec himself.
