A typical medieval house

This house, in bricks and half-timbered kept the characteristics of old medieval houses du old center : half-timbering, corbelling to gain surface area, and an open-air attic “the sun”… It appears at the bend of a Discovery tour, in the heart of a network of narrow streets, with the omnipresent bell tower of the cathedral in the background. The ground floor is reminiscent of old stalls and a staircase leads upstairs to discover a permanent exhibition on the youth of the Albigensian painter, Henri from Toulouse-Lautrec. Le Berbie Palace houses the collections of this world famous painter.

The second floor is a video room and dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
