Discovery routes

Centre-ancien-itineraire circuit du patrimoine-Albi-Tourisme.jpg
A visit to Albi is organised around the two key monuments: the Saint Cecilia Cathedral and the Berbie Palace, which houses the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. The historic centre surrounds the two giants. It can be discovered on one of the 3 heritage walking routes. Enjoy your walk!

Purple, gold, and azure are the names of these three circuits. Numbered explanatory panels are dotted around the 6 districts that make up the old centre. Historical point, architectural detail... this unique heritage reveals its secrets.

Discover the treasures of the Episcopal City by following the 3 free heritage routes that run through its heart. Each route in the city takes on average one and a half hour to complete. People often move from one route to another.
The three tours are shown on the map of the historic centre.

  • Purple route : Castelviel, Castelnau and Saint Salvi
  • Gold route : Patus Crémat and Vigan districts
  • Azure route : Berges du Tarn and Combes districts
