Our Vineyard:
Located 40 km north-east of Toulouse, the Gaillac appellation extends over both banks of the Tarn and as far as the Cordais plateau.
The climate of the vineyard benefits from two influences: the oceanic mildness and the Mediterranean heat which, in summer and autumn accentuated by the autan wind, ensure a good maturity of the grapes.
The Domaine extends over 65 hectares of red and 10 hectares of white, all on three geologically different terroirs: Grave / Gravelly clay / Graves-limestone.
This wealth of terroir and soil, ranging from gravel to clay, allows us to produce and vinify a large number of unique and characterful grape varieties: Braucol, Duras and Syrah in red or Loin de L'œil, Mauzac, and Muscadelle in white. All these grape varieties from our region bring their originality, elegance and strength to our wines.
Like our terroir and our grape varieties, our wines are complex and draw their strength from this diversity.

Our Domain:
Domaine Carcenac is now run by Nicole and her son Cédric Carcenac, a family history for several generations.
Today, we are happy to be able to present to you the work of all these years of tradition and know-how.
Our wines are a reflection of our history, and combine both typicality and modernity.
It is possible to visit it in groups (minimum 10 people) every day of the year (except January 1 and December 25, Sunday by reservation) from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m. for a duration of one and a half hours.

From the vine to the wine, passing through the cellar and the barrel cellar, come and meet the winemaker.
