In its brick setting, Albi surprises you, Albi charms you with a unique heritage, whose treasures we want to share. Albi is just as enchanting for its gourmet moments: a good table to share, a gourmet market, local products, it's a cure for gluttony that Albi promises you.

Gourmet markets: The Rendez-vous des Epicureans

  • The Albi Covered Market : Located in the city center, the Albi Covered Market is a must for lovers of fresh and local products. Open from Tuesday to Sunday morning, it is full of stands offering seasonal fruits and vegetables, artisanal cheeses, fine charcuterie and regional specialties, pastries and even Gaillac wines. Strolling between the stalls is a real pleasure for the senses.
  • The Castelviel Market Smaller and more intimate, the Castelviel market is held on Thursdays from 16 p.m. to 20 p.m. Here, local producers come directly to sell their products, offering a selection of meats, fish, breads and artisanal pastries. It is the ideal place to discover the authentic flavors of Tarn. Activities are associated every first Thursday from May to October.
  • Gourmet Nights During the summer, don't miss the Nocturnes Gourmandes, night markets held on Tuesdays. These festive markets bring together producers, artisans and food trucks, in a friendly and lively atmosphere sometimes on Place Sainte Cécile sometimes on Place Lapérouse. This is the perfect opportunity to taste local specialties while enjoying outdoor concerts and entertainment.
