MEETING WITH… Aristide Lacombe, winemaker at Domaine du Grand Chêne. Harvesting winegrowers since 1910, the 40 ha vineyard dominates the right bank of the Tarn on several slopes.
The Mauzac and Len de Lel white grape varieties thrive on clay-limestone hillsides. The Duras and Braucol grape varieties express themselves on a limestone soil in the foothills of the Cordais plateau. They will give full-bodied and powerful wines.
