Porta 5 was an old ruin of which all 4 walls remained without the roof. We had originally set out to create a hotel with only 9 rooms, but ultimately the concept of an apart-hotel suited us better. We have 7 apartments which are between 24 and 28m² on 2 floors and a studio of 19m². Each apartment has a bedroom and a sofa bed and can accommodate up to 8 people and the studio for 2 people.
The location of our apartments is ideal, we are only 150m from the Sainte-Cecile Cathedral, less than 10 minutes on foot in an area where we have bakeries, grocery stores, banks. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly, we are close to the Laperouse Museum and you can reach the historic center by taking either the Pont-Old or the Pont Neuf. It should also be noted that parking around us is free and easy to park. You can also enjoy the Madeleine open-air market, Saturday morning.

Concerning the choices regarding the layout of each apartment?
The goal was not to standardize them and we preferred to personalize each of them through the research of paintings, furniture and all focused on the same theme. There are several themes: the garden, Marylin Monroe, African atmospheres, the sea, the capital Paris under the roofs.

We are ultimately ambassadors of the city and we must receive them well, advise them, welcome them and be at their disposal 24 hours a day. This is our goal and they must have a good image of our city and have the desire to come back. We work with a lot of salespeople in low season and tourists in high season. When you arrive in one of our apartments we will provide you with drinks, madeleines, etc. You will also find baby chairs, travel cots and we welcome pets at no additional cost.
The base in winter is 80€/night and 125€/night for 4 people
We launched our rentals out of passion and the pleasure of keeping in touch with our visitors. We had a restaurant before and it was inconceivable to leave this social link. We like to get to know them, help them if, for example, they need to be picked up at the station, make a small gesture when leaving, a bottle of water...
