Reference Bed and Breakfast® is an alternative to labels that allows you to qualify your offer. Your Tourist Office supports you in this process and in obtaining referencing.
Unlike other types of tourist accommodation, there is no star rating for guest rooms in France. To compensate for this lack, our national federation ADN Tourisme has set up the “Chambre d’Hôtes Reference©” reference system. This is neither a label nor a certification,
but a qualification of the offer and services of the guest rooms carried out according to a benchmark in order to reassure the customer by guaranteeing a quality of service.
National goals
- Guaranteeing bed and breakfast customers a satisfactory level of qualification for the services,
- Allow operators of bed and breakfasts, who do not wish or do not have the possibility of making a financial commitment to existing labels, to qualify their offer,
- Promote the good image of the tourist destination.
How does it work?
- Set up by ADN Tourisme and managed locally by the ADT, each voluntary Tourist Office can, as soon as it wishes, enter into this qualifying system.
- At the request of the host, the accommodation representative of the Tourist Office, Caroline Dubet on behalf of the Albi Tourist Office, examined common areas et the rooms on the basis of a reference grid of objective criteria.
- Several times a year, the departmental allocation commission studies the visit reports carried out by the OTs in order to award the listing for each candidate host. In Le Tarn, the Departmental Commission meets 3 times a year in the premises of Tarn Attractiveness.
