About

Theatre, dance, music, circus... But also arthouse cinema, exhibitions, debates, meetings... So many events that make the SNA a place of artistic and cultural ferment, a place of life for the public and artists!

Created in 1983, the Albigensian Cultural Center obtained the "Scène Nationale" label from the Ministry of Culture in 1992. More than thirty years later, it is under the name of Scène Nationale d'ALBI-Tarn that the association Tarnaise, faithful to its artistic, professional and public responsibilities, extends its work of cultural democratization around its formidable tool, the Grand Théâtre, its other places the Athanor and the Théâtre des Lices but also throughout the department thanks to its many partners along the Tarn.

Among its assets, the SN ALBI-Tarn brings to life a cinema, the Salle Arcé, classified as an arthouse by the National Center for Cinema and Moving Image with the labels "Research and Discovery", "Young Public" and "Heritage and Directory”.

Each season, about sixty shows, for more than 200 performances in Albi and in the department, 24 cinema admissions... Theatre, music, dance, circus, cinema, but also cross-writing, the seasons offer you the opportunity to discover a wide panorama of creation.

This theater is also yours.

In other places (along the Tarn, Athanor, etc.), on some shows, an individual magnetic loop can be provided (info and reservations with the SNA-Tarn team).

The Théâtre de la Scène Nationale is equipped with Twavox: this equipment makes it possible to broadcast directly on a smartphone application: the audio description elements of the films or a personalized audio track (volume, equalizer) or the subtitles (VF or SME) .

The National Stage offers an adaptation of shows and visits in LSF (Sign Language) and organization of cine-sign evenings where the SNA-Tarn Cinema offers films with SME subtitles followed by a time for discussion and meeting. at the end with an LSF interpreter.

Physical disability

Wheelchair accessible building.

10 places for people with disabilities are available in the Cordeliers car park (with lift) close to the Grand Théâtre and the Cinema.

Visual impairment

The National Stage offers:

On-demand transport service: for performances in audio description, the LibéA network of the Albigensian Agglomeration Community provides an on-demand transport service, free of charge upon registration.

- The Scène Nationale team also advises you on shows with partial accessibility where the text and/or music predominate.

- tactile models are arranged in free access to allow spectators to explore the model of the Grand Théâtre d'Albi by touch and to understand the space and the architecture of the place.
