In the heart of the village, the Bajén-Vega museum preserves and exhibits the works of artists from Spanish exile Francisco Bajén “the painter of silence” and Martine Vega “the tamer of colors”.
Located in the heart of a 200th century mansion, the Bajén-Vega museum offers nearly 2 m² of temporary exhibition space on XNUMX levels. Francisco Bajén, a great scholar, lover of arts and letters, creates a painting in suspended time, influenced by the great painters of the XNUMXth century and the avant-garde currents of the XNUMXth century.
Inspired by the artistic currents of the early XNUMXth century, their paintings are flamboyant, audacious and original.
Martine Vega's work, more secret, shows great spontaneity and a dazzling need for expression through color.
Each year, all of the collections on display are renewed, allowing you to discover the rich artistic production of the two painters.
Are you visiting with family? The mini-museum welcomes you: cozy space, works at children's height, games...
