Description

FLUORINE: is a mineral species composed of calcium fluoride and traces of organic compounds. Of vitreous luster, it is transparent to translucent. Its color is very varied, depending on the traces of elements it contains. It fluoresces when illuminated by ultraviolet radiation. His line is white.
LES MONTS D'ALBAN: From the top of the Monts d'Alban you can contemplate wild nature halfway between Aveyron and the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. The calm and superb landscape hides a preserved natural heritage and has some surprises in store for you.
TEILLET: It has not always been the peaceful village known to walkers today. When the Reformation gradually spread to Haut Languedoc, Teillet became with Lombers and Réalmont one of the three main Protestant strongholds of the diocese of Albi. The village was then the scene of bloody battles between Catholics and Huguenots. His fort played an important role, the focus of the Catholic armies. It is on the current place of the Town hall that the fort of Teillet once stood. It was the Viscounts of Paulin and Rabastens, owners of Teillet, who had this strategic point fortified around 1440: an outpost of the Château de Paulin.
RAZISSE: Grandval castle is no more than a ghost of a castle in the middle of the waters of the Razisse dam. Occupied by the Maquis, Grandval was set on fire by the Germans in June 1944, thus destroying the sumptuous interior decoration.

ALBAN: Alban's Church is a wonderful blend of old and new. Nicholai Greschny's frescoes adorn the whole church and illustrate the Gospels. The beauty of the icons and the powerful colors force contemplation. Taste the serenity.
