LE CARMAUSIN & CAP 'DÉCOUVERTE: Located on the very site of the former Carmaux mines, the Cap'Découverte leisure park offers many outdoor activities for the whole family.
To discover nearby: the Mine Museum – the Glass Art Center Museum.
AMBIALET: Celts, Viscounts Trencavel, Counts of Toulouse, Crusade against the Albigensians… the history of this peninsula has always been turbulent. Built on its rocky outcrop which forms an almost perfect isthmus, the Romanesque priory continues to watch over the village as a real gateway to the Tarn Valley.
To discover: The priory – the isthmus of the river – the stations of the cross – Saint-Gilles chapel – the pier behind the hydraulic mill (be careful, the river is subject to floods or sudden surges of water – Follow the instructions of security ).
SAINT-JUERY: The Saut de Sabo, a 500m long rocky parade on the Tarn, offers an exceptional chaotic spectacle. This natural waterfall of 18 m greatly favored the establishment in the XNUMXth century of a long flourishing steel industry: the Saut du Tarn. Today, the former industrial site is converted into a museum.

VALENCE D'ALBIGEOIS: Old Bastide whose origins date back to around 1278. Located in the heart of Ségala, a breeding ground, it is a mecca for the cattle trade with a bimonthly cattle market
