Description

At the start, on your right, you can discover the Albigensian plain in the distance. During your walk, you will cross agricultural areas, oak and chestnut woods.
In Pécotte, a small locality in the town where two farms oriented towards market gardening are located, you will especially see the “bac de Pécotte”. It was one of the hyphens between the two banks of the Tarn. Its commissioning dates back to 1880. It was in 1960 that its activity ceased. Every year, on the 3rd weekend of July, a party is organized around this ferry.
You will then follow the Tarn before reaching the high plateau where you can discover very beautiful landscapes towards Alban, Assac, Valence d'Albigeois...
