Description

This valley is a place steeped in history. Cupules, small holes well
round, very regular, carved out of strange rocks. The Castles
Cayribel and Miribel, place of permanent residence of minors or place of
refuge ? Defense fortification?
Today, these wild coombs are listed as "Natural Spaces
Sensitive”, classification of the Department of Tarn which aims
to preserve, experiment and enhance the biodiversity of
Tarn natural heritage environments.
The classification of this long valley is justified by its character
"preserved", it still plays the role of refuge valley for animals,
there are many species already present in the Tarn valley:
the spotted woodpecker, the dipper, the hobby falcon, the hawk, the
roe deer, wild boar, genet.
Did you know ? The fario trout roams, graceful, joyful, has
colonized these cool waters. Suddenly lively and clever, she fled.
