Description
The cultivation of orchards in Miolles is old, but a revival of fruit trees planted "in the orchard" at the beginning of the XNUMXth century took place thanks to Mr. Rabaud. This activity has brought new wealth to this mountain region. We went to sell the fruit in Lacaune with a donkey and on the way back we brought back the slate for the roofs.
This sector is also steeped in history, particularly at the archaeological level. Indeed, in 1993 and 1994, two menhir statues were discovered in this town, at a place called Terral. They were named: Terral 1 and Terral 2. At this
occasion, the town hall opened a space to present these two sculptures in very good condition but very different in style and design.
