Château Bouscaillous

The estate belongs to the Caussé family, winegrowers since the last century.
Our ancestor Achille Laurens was already selling his production in the Paris region in the 1900s, and our research on the family allowed us to find our winegrower ancestors in the 1540s.
All the grape varieties of the appellation are represented, but it is especially the local grape varieties which are in the spotlight: Mauzac, Loin de l'œil and Muscadelle for the whites, Braucol, Duras, Syrah for the reds.
Concerned about preserving the environment and aware of the harmful impact of phytosanitary products on wine, the estate has turned to very limited use of these products.
In 2017, the estate obtained the first 0% pesticide label from Gaillac on its whites and is in HVE (High Environmental Value) conversion which naturally confirms respect for the environment on all of its plots.

The Domaine offers a wide range of wines and we will be delighted to have you taste them during your visit.

During the summer period we organize an evening every Thursday with a chef from the region. We offer wines, pancakes and gourmet crepes prepared in front of you a la plancha. Throughout the year, always with our chef, we welcome you in the cellar and at the foot of the vats for a tasting, an aperitif dinner, a meal, a barbecue… all this for your group or family meals , hikes, associations, businesses...We work “à la carte” according to your desires and your budget.
We also subscribe to the France Passion formula for campervan lovers. A large space is reserved for them next to the cellar.
