The Mas d'Aurel, characterized by its typical white stone dovecote, is located on the right bank of the Tarn, north of the Gaillac vineyard, very close to the medieval town of Cordes sur Ciel.
The family property was created in 1963 by Bernadette and Albert Ribot. To date, it is their daughter Brigitte, accompanied by her husband Jacques Molinier, who farm 28 hectares of vines in AOC Gaillac, on clay-limestone terroir. Clara, their eldest daughter, joined the adventure a year ago, and has taken over since January, still in collaboration with her parents.
Our property is located in the north of the appellation, not far from the medieval town of Cordes sur Ciel and the cathedral of Albi, at around 300m altitude.
Always close to nature, we have been HVE certified since 2017 and have started our conversion to Organic Agriculture.
Our Terroir allows us to cultivate emblematic grape varieties of the Gaillac vineyard such as Braucol, Duras, Loin de lʼoeil and Mauzac; which gives our wines a strong identity.
We produce a wide range of Gaillac wines including sweet, dry or pearly whites, red and rosé, you will also find what you are looking for with our plot selections.
It is possible to visit the estate, for a duration of 2 hours, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday at 10, 14 and 16 p.m. by reserving by telephone, or on our website.
