Mas d'Aurel

Mas d'Aurel is a family wine estate located north of the Gaillac vineyard, on the Plateau Cordais at an altitude of 300m. Clara, 3rd generation and young winemaker-oenologist, took over the 28 ha of vines cultivated organically.
Le Mas d'Aurel has been a family wine estate for 3 generations.

The property was created in 1963 by Bernadette and Albert Ribot and then passed on to their daughter Brigitte, who, accompanied by her husband Jacques Molinier, managed the 28 hectares of vines located to the north of the AOP GAILLAC, at an altitude of 300m on a clay-limestone terroir.
Clara, their eldest daughter and trained oenologist, joined the adventure at the start of 2023.

It is very close to the medieval town of Cordes-sur-ciel and not far from Gaillac and Albi that you will find this white limestone farmhouse with a typical dovecote, a true symbol of the history of the Gaillac vineyard.

Since 2021, all of the estate's plots have been converted to organic farming.

The emblematic and local grape varieties of the Gaillac vineyard are cultivated and highlighted in the estate's wines.

Come and discover Braucol or Duras, red grape varieties, as well as Loin de l'oeil and Mauzac, white grape varieties, which give a strong identity to our wines.

We produce a wide range of wines, all in AOP Gaillac, in the 3 colors (red, rosé and white) with some specialties like pearly white, sweet white or even bubbles. Wines that stand out with a beautiful freshness, lots of fruit and a rich aromatic palette.
