Its panoramas carry far, in particular to the Montagnarde, summit of our sector at 802 m where one can quite often see the entire chain of the Pyrenees.
Until the 1960s, with the “petit Séminaire”, Massals was a “mecca” for education, the renown of which reverberated well beyond the boundaries of the Department.
Since 2001, this quality architectural building, consisting of a XNUMXth century castle, a XNUMXth century Gothic chapel and a cloister has been the property of the Community of Communes of Monts d'Alban and Villefranchois. Today, the chapel has been converted into a small performance hall to host cultural events such as choirs and musical performances.
