MPL – Festival Pause Guitare Sud de France 2024

Wednesday July 03 at 21:45 a.m.
The Grand Théâtre des Cordeliers Place de l’Amitié entre les Peuples 81000 Albi
The Pause Guitare 2024 Festival invites you from July 2 to 7 for a new edition in Albi. With more than 65 spectators, this festival in Tarn is one of the biggest events of the summer.
Cédric, Manu, Arthur, Julien and Andreas together form the MPL group. In 2020, their second album L'Étoile took them out of the confidence in which they had been operating until then. With more than 200 dates to their credit, they bring together a growing audience and consider each concert as a privileged space for expressing their artistic identity. Their obvious writing talent appeals to fans and artists alike, as evidenced by singer Ben Mazué who called on them to write the track “Parents”, appearing on his latest album. They are preparing to release their new album Bonhomme on May 27, accompanied by a concert tour which will stop at the Trianon on May 28.

MPL is a scroll that unfolds like a tale, a group of five endearing boys who shout out their feelings in the face of storms. Heady melodies, poetic texts overflowing with images and landscapes and then the desire to fight against the patterns imposed by society. Finally, today's boys, who make questions flourish and who dare to become something other than what the old world expects of them. It is from this perspective of perpetual questioning of their masculinity and affirmation of their sensitivity that MPL's new record: Bonhomme is born.
