Denis Miau's pictorial research has been forged over time in a dialogue between the real and the imaginary, and uniquely expresses his taste for travel and elsewhere.

More than sixty personal exhibitions bear his name in France and abroad, in renowned galleries as well as in museums, in Albi, Gaillac, Toulouse, Paris, Geneva, Nagoya, Tokyo, Hiroshima.
His works appear in numerous public and private collections: City of Albi, Emperor of Japan, Phoenix Art Museum of Wuxi (China), city of Lijiang (China – Gift of the artist on the occasion of the Albi-Lijiang twinning) , Presidency of Madagascar, Foundation of France (Paris).
Denis Miau appears in Bénézit, Paris, Éditions Gründ 1999 (Critical and documentary dictionary of painters, sculptors, designers and engravers of all times and all countries).
